Knox County Schools Energy Performance Review
Friday, September 20, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (EDT)
The Knox County school system has become a leader in efficient, cost-effective multi-facility energy management, saving tens of millions of dollars in energy costs since 2008 by using a combination of training-focused programs, implementing an Energy Management Program (ERP), a new performance-based guaranteed energy savings project, as well as attention to educating personnel, staff and students.
Also contributing to enhanced energy savings are upgraded HVAC systems, lighting retrofits, building automation and controls- saving the school system in excess of $15,669,533 since 2008.
Featuring Zane Foraker, Energy Manager with Knox County Schools, this presentation will update attendees on current energy performance, trends, lessons learned and challenges in managing a substantial campus.
