Pie Crust Designs Knitting Studio will offer “knitting with kids” 4-day (Monday-Thursday) knitting camps for kids ages 7-14, taught by Deborah Lavine. Knitting is a great way for kids to explore color, texture and design. They will learn how to turn yarn into a knitted project, make pom-poms, sew on a button, read a pattern, and understand the different types of needles used for knitting.

“knitting with kids” teaches patience, creativity, and friendship. Register early since enrollment is limited to two kids per camp so he/she can receive personal attention to learn correctly.

CAMP TWO: Introduction to stitch combinations
Kids will learn how to combine the knit and purl stitch together to create seed stitches and ribbed stitch to make a phone case.
Week 3: July 17-July 20, 9:00-11:30
Week 4: July 24-July 27, 12:00-2:30
