The author of Knitting Nature, among other books, Norah Gaughan has spent her life immersed in knitting -- as a freelancer for yarn companies and knitting magazines while also designing pattern stitches for 7th Avenue; as the design director at JCA (she oversaw the Reynolds, Artful Yarns & Adrienne Vittadini Yarn lines); and as the design director at Berroco for nearly nine years (where she headed up the design team and published sixteen eponymous booklets). Now an independent designer working out of her studio in historic Harrisville NH, Norah's latest ventures include being a member of the Brooklyn Tweed design team, designing a collection with The Fibre Co. and recording on-line classes with Creativebug. Her newest labor of love, Norah Gaughan's Knitted Cable Sourcebook (STC Craft) showcases the results of her 30 year spate of inventing new cable patterns.

Martha Wissing strives to create subtly feminine, wearable designs. Her work has been published by Berroco and Amano Yarn Companies. You can also find her on Ravelry as MarthaWissing.

Lisa is a nationally recognized knitting and crochet designer and Craft Yarn Council Certified Knitting Teacher. Founderof LMB Designs, her work has been published by Universal Yarn and Kreinik Threads, and featured in Noro Knitting Magazine, Debbie Macomber’s Blossom Street Collections, and Creative Knitting Magazine.

“Adventures in Knitting” is Lisa’s new series of fiber tours, video tutorials, and online classes. Lisa guides you on your knitting journey to explore your creativity and interpret your stitches. She helps you learn new techniques, translates the “knitting language” in your patterns, helps you fix your own mistakes, and inspires you to create unique projects that you love!

Unraveled has a schedule of classes available at the store. You can pick it up, or ask for one to be emailed to you. Thanks for your patience as we get our technology sorted! We will have all the event details posted soon in a better format!
