Description

The Klatsh is a lively Klezmer Ensemble based somewhere between Llandeilo and Edinburgh. Their particular blend of wind, string, brass and percussion is infused with a passion for the music, a sense of fun, and a belief that every performance is a moment to savour, versatile and unique, a chance to hold a casual conversation through music, pure Klatsh!

War Devastate Lives. Music Action International are people from across the world using the power of creativity to overcome the effects and causes of war, torture and armed conflict Our unique and specialist music programmes support ordinary people affected by conflict to overcome trauma and connect with communities through a shared creative experience.

Stone Flowers supports traumatised refugee and asylum seeker torture survivors living in the UK through regular therapeutic music sessions, bringing people together who are often without family and without hope. Since 2011, Music Action International have worked with over 200 torture survivors and recorded two studio albums. Stone Flowers members have fled war, conflict and violence from across the world including Iran, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Syria, Afghanistan, Cameroon and the DRC. Survivors express themselves through the languages, traditions and cultures of their home countries as well as in English.
