Come Join Us For The Latest IDEA Talk!

Hear the story of regional entrepreneurs and network with others in a relaxed and fun setting. These gatherings are designed to bring together entrepreneurs of all ages, founders, business owners, innovators and support organizations under one roof to hear about and discuss opportunities, needs, and great ideas for starting a business, expanding a business, or getting support in the process.

Admission includes appetizers and one non-alcoholic drink ticket. A no-host bar is available.

Networking and refreshments start at 5:30pm, the presentations begin at 6:00 pm!

Local Company Update: John Bell from Bell Hardware

John Bell is the President of Bell Hardware and Bell Installation.

He has been employed with Bell Hardware since 1993, and became president of the company in 2000. Before joining the family business, John was a Senior Sales Representative with UNUM Insurance.

John graduated from Klamath Union high school in Klamath Falls and took part in a year-long National Student Exchange program at the University of Alabama before completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Oregon State University.

John is actively involved in the community, currently serving as Chair of the Sky Lakes Medical Center Board of Directors, a member of Rotary International, and as a Board Member of the Klamath County Economic Development Association. He is a past Chair of the Ross Ragland Board of Directors.

John is married to Kendal Bell and they have two children. In his spare time, John enjoys golf, bicycling, hiking, and traveling with his family.

 

Local Company Update: Mike Angeli from The Ledge & Yeti's Lair

Mike Angeli is the owner / operator of The Ledge Outdoor Store and Yeti's Lair Climbing Gym. As a sole owner / operator, Mike manages the everyday operations of both businesses, while prospecting for opportunities that present themselves, both in business and for the improvement of life in and around his community of the Klamath Basin.

Mike is retired from a career in law enforcement - Riverside County (CA) and Klamath County Sheriff's Office (OR).  He has been active as a mountaineer and outdoorsman his entire life. While managing his first career, Mike balanced businesses in the outdoor retail industry since 1985.

Involvement in the health of his communities has always been a priority for Mike. Some of it as the founding president and a current board member of the Klamath Falls Downtown Association, a past Lt. Governor for Kiwanis International, and board member for numerous local organizations.

He has been involved in market trends and changes over 3 decades in retail. This has allowed him to gain some insight and inspiration for all things local.

Diana Angeli, Mike's wife and partner in the adventure of life since 1986, is active in support of his endeavors while maintaining a career at Oregon Tech as the Executive Assistant to the President. In her spare time, she has a business of her own, Whispering Clouds Soap. Their spirit of entrepreneurship carries through in the ongoing projects that they are involved in.
