Event Details

When he's not leading community camping adventures, or kayak surfing in the frigid waters of Mass Bay, Chef Dane is creating spectacular meals with fire and the freshest local ingredients. It may be too cold to break out the tent and sleeping bag, but it's never too early to experience the outdoors, indoors, with a delicious, local-inspired feast.

Appetizer:

Fresh Fish Katsu

Seaweed Salad Fresh, local fish battered in panko and herbs, lightly fried. Maine aquacultured seaweed and spring legumes, with a beer-infused ponzu sauce.

Spring Side Dishes, choose two:

Fried Green Tomatoes

Skillet-seared spiced corn

Lemon-glazed, grilled asparagus

Spring salad, with IPA-vinaigrette

Mains, choose one:

Sweet, whiskey-glazed baby back pork ribs

Buttermilk and milk stout-battered fried chicken

Slow-roasted pork shoulder with honey-bourbon BBQ sauce

Grilled sirloin topped with pancetta and roasted peppers.

Dessert:

Home-made Apple Pie with fruit-preserve ice cream
 
Selection of spring beers from Blue Hills Brewery, Sweet Tea, Fresh Apple Juice, Iced Coffed or Water
