Description

Beet Generation Farm is owned and operated by Libby Batzel and Ali Levesque. Libby operates the farm full time while Ali works as a paramedic in San Francisco, and helps with the farm when she is home.

Libby and Ali noticed that our food system was leading many people develop severe health problems due to the consumption of over processed, over salted and over sweetened products. They realized the need for more mindful choices and ethical commitments and dedicated their lives to farming in order to create a system that was better for the environment and better for humans. After working at several organically operated farms, they gained the experience and knowledge needed to start their own business and bring this vision to fruition.

Beet Generation Farm is located on a beautiful piece of property in South Sebastopol. The owners Hilary Austen and Jack May are longstanding supporters of delicious, fresh food and small, local farms. In addition to the sandy loam soils, a fruit orchard, and a beautiful vintage barn, this location is home to their new Beet Generation Kitchen Pasta Line!

About Kitchen Table Advisor Farm Tours

The relationships we build with farmers, eaters, producers, and the land are essential to our work at Kitchen Table Advisors. Through this farm tour, we aim to:

1. Connect our community with our clients. In hearing the story of each of these businesses, the support Kitchen Table Advisors has provided and the impact we can all continue to make in their long-term economic viability. We are a farm-centric organization.
2. Connect with you directly. Nothing can replace the value of spending time with each of you, in person. People are our most valuable asset; whether you are an old friend of Kitchen Table Advisors, or newly invited to our community, we want to share this time with you.
3. Connect with the land our food comes from. Which is why we always have an incredible lunch, sourced from
the farm and prepared by a local chef.

Registration covers your organic lunch and administration of the tour. For those of you who are deterred by price, there is a 50% discount code for this event (code: LUNCH)
