On February 14th, restaurant partners Doug Adams and Jennifer Quist are throwing a Valentine’s Day event that not only hits the five major food groups - caviar, black truffles, foie gras, lobster and champagne - but also brings the fun to the table while supporting Planned Parenthood.
Taking place at Elkspace, a raw event space at the Sentinel Hotel, the team behind Portland’s upcoming Bullard are keeping it low-fuss - communal tables and a mix of 80s/90s love (and break up) classics on the sound system - while Adams serves up his decadent menu from a pop up kitchen right in the space.
Start the night with a pre-dinner cocktail at neighboring bar, Jackknife (included in ticket price), before heading to a 5 course dinner at 7PM.The casual dinner includes dishes like fried chicken skins and caviar and butter poached lobster with Meyer lemon and truffle.
Tickets are $80 and include food and one drink ticket for a special cocktail at Jackknife, with all proceeds going to Planned Parenthood.*
*Gratuity and additional alcohol not included. Will Oben of Park Avenue Fine Wines will also be onsite offering sparkling wines and champagnes at a variety of price points.
