Description
Join us for a special presentation of the powerful new feature film Kiss and Cry, with filmmakers and lead actress Sarah Fisher in attendance.
Kiss and Cry is a drama based on the true story of Carley Allison, an up-and-coming young figure skater and singer who finds love just as she is diagnosed with an extremely rare 1 in 3.5 billion form of cancer.

The filmmakers went to great lengths to achieve a sense of realism by shooting in locations where Carley Allison lived her life, as well as by casting Carley's real-life best friend Sarah Fisher to play her. The skating sequences were shot at the Cricket Club, the same elite training facility where Carley Allison was coached by Japanese Olympian Shin Amano. Sarah Fisher was trained to skate by chorographer Brad Hopkins, as well as Riley Allison, Carley's sister.
NOW Magazine writes "I was reminded of the thing I love most about the movies: they can surprise you, if you let them" and gives the film NNNN. Critics agree, "The film is undoubtably stolen by Sarah Fisher" (Addison Wylie).
Stay for a Q&A after the film with Sarah Fisher, director Sean Cisterna and producer Avi Federgreen.
Doors Open at 6:00pm. Screening at 6:30pm.
