Join us as we celebrate the International Women's Day. This year's theme is a challenged world is an alert world. We can choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world, so let's all #choosetochallenge.

- Entertainment by Indigenous Outreach Projects
- African dance and drumming performance with live percussion
- Morning Tea
Keynote by Mariam Issa: Mariam is a Speaker, Author, Storyteller and Community Builder. She is the co-founder of RAW (Resilient Aspiring Women) and Space2b.
MC Tara Graves: This event will be hosted by Tara Graves, finalist in Kingston Youth Awards 2020 and Kingston Woman of the Year Award 2020.
Kingston Woman of the Year Award
Kingston Woman of the Year Award will be presented at the International Women’s Day ceremony hosted on Friday 5 March 2021.
Nominees of this award are women who are leaders in their field, who inspire others and who make a difference to our community through their exceptional professional or personal achievements. We are celebrating nominees across four categories:
- Courageous Commitment
- Excelling in Arts and Sport
- Inspiring Innovation
- Success in STEM

The entry to this event is free, however bookings are essential for catering purposes. Please book your tickets online by Monday 1 March 2021.
Guests may be asked to sign in or scan QR code as they arrive. Doors will open from 9.30am.
*Due to coronavirus restrictions, there will be limited number of tickets available and registrations will close once limit is reached. In the event of any changes to Government advice, the event may be cancelled at short notice and information will be published on our website.
