About this Event
Kingsland Homestead, a late 18th-century Long Island Half-House style structure is honored as being the first New York City landmark in Queens County. It is located in the historic Weeping Beech Park in Flushing, Queens. In addition to changing exhibitions, a period room displays furnishings of the Victorian era. Masks are a requirement for admission. Gloves and hand sanitizer will be provided. Social Distancing will be observed.
How admission tickets work:
Because we want to discourage the spread of COVID-19 in our enclosed space, we are instituting a reservation system. To get your tickets follow these simple steps:
1. Pick your time on the schedule. There are four 30 minute slots available each day. Please reserve your time and date at least a week in advance.
2. Choose your General Admission Ticket. Pick the one that best describes you. Students should bring their ID's. Members get in Free! just bring your membership card. If General Admission is sold out, that means that slot has already been reserved. Please pick another time to reserve your tour!
3. If you have additional family members or other people you are living with, you can get them tickets as well! Up to 4 people total may be in a party. Select the type, and quantity of tickets that apply to your party members. Students and members should bring their ID's and cards.

5. Show up for your appointment! We will have our docent give you the tour of Kingsland Homestead in person, and you can also spend time in Weeping Beech Park!
