Description
Come join us at the Cheverly American Legion for another "raise the roof" fundraiser. King Soul is an eight piece original Southern Soul dance and show. Listen to their music on Amazon and iTunes. Saturday April 28th from 8-11pm. Doors open at 6:30. Dinner from Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken will be served from 6:30-8pm--or while it lasts--for $10 per person. Free parking. 21 and over only. Buy 7 tickets and get the 8th one free if purchased by April 22nd (must be a single purchase of 8 tickets for the discount)--no reserved tables. We will have 50/50 games throughout the evening. Free parking available in the Cheverly American Legion parking lot.

Organizer of King Soul Band
The American Legion is a congressionally chartered mutual-aid veterans organization founded to benefit those veterans who served during a wartime period as defined by the U.S. Congress. The American Legion Post 108 in Cheverly was first organized in 1933 and completed in 1941; built by post members of materials collected from Rock Creek Park, the East Wing of the White House, a bridge in Washington, DC, the McLean Mansion, and contains old doors from the U.S. Supreme Court. The post family currently has over 450 members and sponsors Boy Scout Troop 257and Cub Scout Pack 257.
