We LOVE making KIMCHI at The Cultured Club and we make and experiment ALOT with different types.

We love eating kimchi too from apple kimchi, pear kimchi, cucumber kimchi, onion kimchi, raddichio kimchi, pumpkin & aubergine kimchi, turnip kimchi..... is there anything you cannot kimchi?

I get the sense that whilst we are not Korean, many of you are starting to enjoy kimchi too.

So what better way to love it even more than to make it together.

Kimjang (김장 ) is the traditional process of preparing a big quantity of kimchi at once. Traditonally kimchi is prepared usually towards the end of October or beginning of November, before the cold weather starts. It is a winter ritual, but we cannot wait and it is a demanding job that involves many people.

There are many tasks.

There is much garlic and ginger to prepare.

There are lots of cabbages to coat in the spicy sauce.

All ingredients will be provided for this event.

Please bring with you a clean 1 LITRE jar with you to the event to fill with your own community infused Kimchi.
