Join us for an intimate, hands-on Korean cooking experience led by the incredible Chef Yun, founder of Ssug — artist, chef, fermentation specialist, and former development chef for M&S, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

What to Expect

🥬 Make Your Own KimchiYun will guide you through the fundamentals of authentic Korean kimchi — its history, its health benefits, its flavours — and you’ll make your own batch to take home.

🍲 Bibimbap Dinner (veg or meat)Sit back and enjoy as Yun cooks her signature bibimbap, crafted with her “farm to plate” philosophy and deep belief in food as nourishment and medicine.

🧡 Q&A with YunAsk her anything about Korean cooking, fermentation, wellbeing, and her journey from Korean markets to high-end catering and the Royal Academy.

Why This Evening Is Special

Yun brings a rare blend of art, storytelling and tradition. Born in a traditional Korean house near a fish market in Incheon, she grew up helping her mother prepare banquets for Korean ceremonies. Today, her work blends ancient food wisdom with modern cooking — and this is a chance to learn directly from her in a tiny group.
