Radney Foster

Texas native Radney Foster started his career as a songwriter, after moving to Nashville in 1985. He co-wrote a Top Ten hit for Sweethearts of the Rodeo, and went on to commercial and critical success as part of the duo Foster & Lloyd. They recorded three albums in the late 1980s, scoring a series of country hits.

His solo debut, Del Rio TX 1959, was released in 1992 and featured two Top Ten country songs, including "Nobody Wins," co-written with Kim Richey. His third solo effort 2017's For You to See the Stars showcases his classic, soulful storytelling.
