Bekki Hlava is a singer/songwriter from a small town called Stoke-On-Trent in England. After many years of working full time and trying to pursue her music career she finally decided to quit her 9-5 job and take a leap of faith with a plane ticket to Los Angeles. Little did she know that it would one day pay off and she would end up working with some of the top LA musicians for her music and have the opportunity to travel back and forth.
Her inspiration comes from many genres of music, but she mainly listens to hiphop and rnb.
Her voice is often described as having a very soulful and distinctive tone and she likes to express herself very honestly about her experiences through her lyrics.
In 2015, Tyran’s single “Goin Up” featuring Gene Noble made waves in the college scene, reaching No. 3 at College Hip-Hop Radio on both the Rapattacklives.com and Rapnetwork Record Breakers charts. “Goin Up” also made it to the Top 200 on the Digital Radio Airplay Chart and reached No. 27 on the National Digital Radio Independent Chart. His debut EP, Book of Tyran, was released in June and has been receiving wide acclaim. Poised to grab the spotlight by putting together an ambitious and cohesive collection, Brown stands out among the next batch of hungry rappers that rises up to the occasion.
