KIKI EBSEN

Entertainer Kiki Ebsen returns to Feinstein's at Vitello's with “An Evening in Old Hollywood,” her stunningly sultry voice delivering the best in jazz from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Vocalist, recording artist, and composer in her own right, Kiki is the youngest daughter of stage, screen, and film star Buddy Ebsen, who first rose to fame in New York in the 1930s as a dancer, and entertainer during the heydey of Vaudeville. Ebsen introduced his daughter to jazz, teaching her to play “St. Louis Blues” on the piano when she was a child.

Of course, Ebsen’s movie career included co-starring roles with Judy Garland, Shirley Temple, Jimmy Stewart, Barbara Stanwick, before becoming one of our most beloved TV icons, Jed Clampett. Ebsen was also known as “Doc Golightly” in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” with Audrey Hepburn, and he was originally cast as the Tin Man in MGM’s “The Wizard of Oz,” celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. Kiki has many stories to share about growing up in Hollywood.

You’ll enjoy hearing the songs that inspired her award-winning theatre production, "To Dad with Love: A Tribute to Buddy Ebsen." Kiki is backed by her quartet, which features pianist Jeff Colella, saxophonist Kim Richmond, drummer Kendall Kay, and bassist Granville "Danny" Young. The audience is in for a delightful evening of music and memories, one that also marks 16 years since the passing of this beloved Disney Legend and Hollywood icon. Don’t miss it!
