Event description


A one-day marketplace where children (6-14 y.o.) will showcase their original services and products.

Come out to support, shop and encourage the young entrepreneurs!

This is a community-wide event. Everyone is welcome to attend, shop and interact with young entrepreneurs.

Even though this event is open to the general public (we anticipate large attendance), it is limited to the first 36 entrepreneur/business team registrations.

Each team (max 3 people) needs to submit the application online. To register your budding entrepreneur(s), click on the link at the very end.

Applicants must be between the ages of 6-14 on or BEFORE the application open date. The age categories are 6-8 y.o., 9-11 y.o., 12-14 y.o. Mixed age group business teams are allowed. For mixed age group, the category will be based on the oldest age participant.

Organizers will collect a $10 participation fee from all accepted business ideas.

Organizers will take great care to limit the number of businesses in specific categories so as not to have too many similar business concepts.

If an applicant’s business idea is similar to entries that were accepted before the applicant’s submission, organizers will notify the applicant and provide the opportunity to resubmit a new application.

Organizers reserve the right to deny an entry.

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult or guardian.

Each booth consists of a 6-foot table and 2 chairs. Table covers are NOT provided. (There will be 36 booths in total.)

No more than 3 participants per booth.

Parents of younger children may sit in their booth, but the children are to be responsible for setup, sales and interacting with the customers.


An awards ceremony will be held immediately following the Kidz Biz Expo.

All participants will be automatically entered in the business competition, and booths will be judged by event sponsors and local business owners on the following criteria:

** Most original business idea
** Highest business potential
** Best presentation/creativity

The judges’ decisions are final.

Cash prizes of $50 per category and age group (to be split among the business owners) will be presented at the end of the expo.
