What are people saying?

“You were a great asset to our program this summer and the children had a ball.  I would love to have you back. Thanks again for everything.”

-Krishna Foran, Senior School Age Child Care Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston

“A million thanks again for Sunday! We are so grateful for the music that you have brought to us. We would love to have you visit our summer program.”

-Kelly Pellagrini, Director, Charlestown Nursery School

“Stellar, stunning work and follow through”

-David Day, Creative Director, Together Festival

-Robin Lapidus, Director of the Central Square Business Association

Her new album, “Make A Discovery”, features 20 sing-a-long songs ranging in musical genre and topics. Highlights include the light hearted anthem Fetch, the energetic Squiggle, and the quirky Disco Donut Robot. There’s also the earnest Friends With You, plus Back Home Soon, which received early acclaim from critics for its comforting message that deals with school anxieties and separation issues.

The album was initially funded through Kickstarter, and thanks to fans all around the world, the complete album of 20 songs is now available for free, with a picture eBook included.

"Children respond in a pure, uninhibited, and genuine way to the joy of music. Participating early on in song and dance helps children learn safe and healthy ways to have fun and feel good," says Marcie, referring to how the music has an impact on kids, "Music is educational in that it helps kids learn patterns and rules, and deal with emotionally complex or confusing ideas."

The new album has been designed to encourage the use of imagination, kindness to others, respect for each other's differences, the importance of communication, and the idea that we all learn from our mistakes. It is also full of funny, energetic, thoughtful songs that will get you and your child singing, smiling, and dancing along, say critics.

Apart from its free songs, other features include collaborations with guest artists from around the world, two bonus tracks and a picture eBook. Her song, “There’s a Bug in My Room”, comes with a free picture ebook adaptation formatted for all eReaders.

The Album is free to stream or download. All 20 tracks as well as the album artwork is included. Visit:www.kidsmusicbymarcie.wordpress.com or click here.
