Description

Please consider joining us at the 25th Anniversary Fundraising Lucheon for Kids Making It.

At Kids Making It, our goal for every youth we serve is for them to stay in school, stay out of trouble and transition successfully into either the workplace or college

Although we do not charge to attend, this is our major fundraiser for the year, and we will be asking our guests at the end of the program to consider making a donation in an amount that is meaningful to them.

Norm Abram has been the master carpenter on PBS’s This Old House, the #1 home improvement brand, since the show premiered in 1979, and host of The New Yankee Workshop since its premiere a decade later. Norm has inspired millions of homeowners to renovate and restore their homes.

Admired for his easy-going manner and common sense approach to renovation, Norm is an uncompromising old world craftsman who searches out new construction products and approaches.

Norm learned carpentry working at his father’s side as a child, and grew up remodeling and building homes with him. He has authored eight books, including Measure Twice, Cut Once and The New Yankee Workshop Kids’ Stuff.
