Bring your kids into UCode to create their own video games. This is a FREE event! We will be showing your kids Scratch.
Scratch is an interactive programming language create by MIT that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web.
As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically and work collaboratively.
Your children will be learning Scatch at UCode. We teach kids how to program. Ucode is about developing young minds and letting them figure out how to solve problems logically and creatively.
The workshop starts at 1pm and lasts until 2:30pm and is FREE. An RSVP is required. The workshop is suitable for ages 6 and up. We have computers at our campus but we encourage you to bring your own computer/laptop. We will install Scratch on it so your child can make games using Scratch at home even after the workshop is finished. Also we encourage you to bring head phones.
Space is limited....RSVP now!
When & Where
UCode teaches school-aged children to code!
UCode teaches kids and teens how to use technology and coding skills to solve problems through its classes, labs, camps and events throughout Southern California. Using their creative minds, students create applications for mobile devices, develop websites, program software, and design games.
