Event Details

Why do some plants like to live in water? In July's Kids in the Garden class, kids will learn answers to that question and more through story time, a classroom lecture and a hands-on craft. They'll leave the class with their own miniature water garden.

About Kids in the Garden

On the first Saturday of every month, Bachman's helps kids get their hands dirty—literally! Our Kids in the Garden classes will have your children learning about and playing with plants, blooming flowers and other garden staples like birdfeeders and baskets. Classes begin with a reading selection followed by a instruction time and end with a project related to the subject that kids can take home.

Kids in the Garden events are best for ages 3-7. Parents are welcome but not required to stay. Experienced and educationally focused staff members will lead the experience.

RSVP by Location

Classes take place at all Bachman's Floral, Gift and Garden Centers. Select your location from the ticket types listed above. Get directions to the location your child will attend:
