Parents, book discussions can help your children develop their literacy, social and
communication skills – skills that are vital to academic and personal success.
This month's book - “Mr. Popper's Penguins" (a Newbery honor book by Atwater) -
is about what a happy, daydreaming painter does when he receives an Arctic
surprise in the mail.
Space is limited. 3rd-4th Graders only (a separate 5th-6th grade book discussion
is available for older kids)
Please register, using your child’s first and last name.
Note: If you discover a schedule conflict after you registered your child, please
cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow another child to participate.
“No Shows” (people who repeatedly register but do not show up for programs)
may forfeit reservation privileges for future programs.
Participants should finish reading the book by December 12, 2016.
