Our Founder and President, Raymond Evans III, started this organization to help service members and their families. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Ohio native, and Jacksonville, NC, local business owner. He has been blessed with much success in this community, and though he has donated to many charities and causes, he felt the call to do more to help his fellow man. As a father, he wanted to incorporate a project to help with educational needs. Along with his wife, Jeannette Quin Evans, and a few selected board members, they came up with the first charitable project for the organization, the North Carolina Fallen Service Member Scholarship, now called the Sacrifice Scholarship. This scholarship is offered to North Carolina Students attending North Carolina Institutions who can express the spirit of Sacrifice due to their own or their family members association with any branch of The United Armed Services. We hope this scholarship will significantly benefit those it is awarded to and help fill in any gaps for costs not covered by Federal grants and other available scholarships. Our goal is to provide funding and, eventually, services to help all service members and their families in need of help with guidance and support.
