Bring your laptop and an idea for a creative project — Kickstarter staff will be on hand to provide wisdom and tools for getting your project started. Whether you’re ready to launch your project now or just want to explore the Kickstarter format, our aim is to inspire you to bring your project to life.

What you need to know:

• Drop in anytime between 5 and 7 p.m.

• Bring your fully charged WiFi-ready laptop (a limited number of outlets will be provided for charging computers).

• Light refreshments will be provided.

FAQs

What is a project jam?

A project jam is an event where people get together to "jam" on some ideas. Like a jam session in music, or a game jam where people plan a game together. Kickstarter will not be leading a talk or a workshop, but rather providing dedicated time and space for you and a bunch of other people to work on your projects.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is limited street parking in the Greenpoint neighborhood. We recommend taking the G train to the Greenpoint stop and walking - it’s about 5 minutes. You can also take the ferry to India St.

Is this event ADA accessible?

Yes. The event is ground level and the building is fully accessible with an elevator and properly equipped bathroom stalls.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Nope. We will have your name on a list at the front door.

What if I can't get there at 5pm?

No worries, you can drop in anytime from 5pm onward, so long as you leave by 7pm.
