Join us for a kick-off event to help Portland's National Day of Civic Hacking events get started! Celebrate, get inspired, and hear more about each hack-a-thon. There’s all kinds of dreaming, creating, and hacking you can be part of!
We'll be gathering at Epicodus for beer, snacks, and brainstorming projects for the two hack-a-thons!
The National Day of Civic Hacking is a nationwide event to build innovative civic projects and a lasting community that is passionate about finding technological solutions to shared problems in our communities.

Northwest Hack-a-thon
Portland’s Northwest Hack-a-thon will focus on direct collaboration with nonprofits, public agencies, and organizations in Portland. The Northwest Hack-a-thon is hosted by Code for Portland, a brigade of Code for America and sponsored by North, Epicodus, Fine Design, and ESRI.

Southwest Hack-a-thon
Portland’s Southwest Hack-a-thon will focus on better planning of urban areas. Join us in imagining what our Portland of the future will look like with new models of innovation, community, and economic development. Bring your ideas and be part of the creative innovation that makes Portland unique.
