Like many great zydeco musicians, Curley Taylor was born to play zydeco. His professional career began at age 16 drumming in his father’s band, Jude Taylor and the Burning Flames. Fast forward a few years and Curley has drummed for such South Louisiana greats as Steve Riley, CC Adcock and Curley’s uncle, legendary blues guitarist Paul ‘Li’l Buck’ Sinegal. While touring with CJ Chenier, son of zydeco’s founding father Clifton Chenier, Curley learned to play accordion. In 2003 he released his debut "Country Boy". Taylor is known coast to coast for his fiery, hip brand of zydeco that represents a crossroads between rural Creole life and fashionable urban hipness.

Delicious gourmet plant based/Cajun cuisine from Sauvage available for puchase, and a cash bar for wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Complimentary King Cake served after the costume contest.
