KF - Kanban Foundation

(Lead Time Kanban)

You wish you could keep your word and deliver as promised but are so busy that everything gets delivered later and later? You would like to have actionable knowledge that you could use tomorrow without going thru an enterprise transformation with new roles, responsibilities and deliverables like all other agile approaches offer?

As a knowledge worker, do you feel overburdened and not able to enjoy the things that life can bring about? Are you wishing a miracle would help you work less and still be more productive? Are you a middle manager wishing to tell the truth to upper management but cannot produce solid data to establish trust and make the proper decisions with your team?

If you feel compelled by these questions, then this course is meant for you.

In contrast to other Kanban classes that focus on one single approach, my training encompasses the whole spectrum of divergent thinking coming from the best Kanban thought leaders: David Anderson (creator of the Kanban method), Steve Tendon (Tameflow – The Real Kanban), Daniel Vacanti, Klaus Leopold & Pawel Brodzinski to name a few.

Who Should Attend

If you earn your leaving as a knowledge worker, you need to take responsibility for improving the delivery of your products and services.

This responsibility would be fulfilled through acquiring knowledge from the Kanban method. And once this is done, you will not need a budget or a permission to shine anew in your organisation.

Daniel Doiron Certified Kanban Coach, CPA, MBA, PMP, CSP, CKC

Daniel Doiron is a Certified Kanban Coach and has been involved in IT in a wide range of roles and responsibilities, primarily in client-facing consulting projects covering the government, banking, insurance, and telecom industries to name a few.

Daniel’s involvement with Agile started with Scrum in 2005 and more recently with Kanban and Management 3.0. Daniel was selected to speak at the Scrum Alliance Global Gathering in Shanghai, at the Lean Kanban North America Conferences in Miami and Washington DC and recently at the PMI Senegal Agile Day in Dakar. He is also a frequent speaker on Kanban topics for the canadian (Montreal & Toronto) chapters of both the PMI and Agile Alliance.

Recently, Daniel received an acknowledgment for his contribution in the ‘Essential Kanban Condensed’ guide published by David Anderson and Andy Carmichael and in "Practical Kanban' from Klaus Leopold - now a best seller on Amazon! Daniel has chosen to work with managers who have been left behind by the Agile movement since the top 5 Agile methods (Scrum, XP, FDD, Crystal, Dynamics) offer more than 50 roles to the various actors: yet not a single one for management! This is where he comes in, providing more effective and efficient management skills and tools.

Trained in the traditional CPA, MBA and PMI archetypes, Daniel seamlessly bridges the various gaps to the new Agile and Lean paradigms of thinking and acting. He loves systems, enjoys measuring improvement while embracing teamwork that actually works!

Daniel holds a B.Comm (MIS), an MBA, a PMP and is also a CPA. For Agile certifications, Daniel holds a CSP and is a (CKC) - Certified Kanban Coach.
