The Key West Artisan Market is held monthly on a Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm at the Restaurant Store. Local artisans include fresh produce, culinary, textile, jewelry, wood, artists & crafters and curiosities. We feature the KONK Life/Key West Writer’s Guild Local Author’s Nook, 104.9 the X live variety show, beer, wine and food. Each month has a new theme.
The event gives residents and visitors alike a chance to shop fresh and local. The parking lot at 1111 Eaton is transformed into a showcase of art, photography, jewelry and unique local handicrafts made exclusively in the Keys. There is eclectic entertainment, local author book signings, demonstrations and sampling. Participants are juried each market for vendor stalls.
Guests are able to taste and buy local specialties including fresh Cole’s Peace bakery items, expanded farmer’s market fruits and vegetables, shrimp, smoked meats, cheeses, wine, honey, salt and spices, pasta, honey, bacon jam and other culinary delights.
Concessions, wine and a broad craft beer selection are onsite. At least four brews from Bone Island Brewing, located within the Restaurant Store, are featured.
The Key West Artisan Market is a proud supporter of the City of Key West’s Preserve Island Life Campaign. This initiative is about promoting the little things we can do to increase our community sustainability and resilience. The Market works in partnership with the Green Coordinators to offer fun, weekly themes that reinforce these efforts by offering resources and education to our guests.
