Pre-Registration Guidelines Before Distribution

  • Pre-registration is REQUIRED every month to pick up food during 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. Pre-registration goes "live" on Eventbrite every LAST Tuesday of the month.
  • You can only pre-register for ONE HOUSEHOLD. A household is defined by an address and everyone (including multiple families and/or generations living under one roof) living at that address.
  • After submitting the pre-registration form, each participant will be emailed a QR code. You will need to present that QR code or your registered name to check in for your food items.

Day of Distribution Guidelines

  • No waiting in line before 12:30 pm. Since this is a pre-registration system, there is no need for participants to line up in advance. All pre-registered 'ohana will receive food!
  • 1:00 pm-2:00 pm: Pre-registered participants can pick up their food.
  • 2:00 pm-3:00 pm: Non-registered participants can pick up food - while supplies last.
  • You will be able to pick up food for a max of TWO households. Both SEPARATE households, must be pre-registered in order to pick up from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm.

General Rules and Reminders

  • This is a WALK-UP ONLY distribution. No cars allowed.
  • Please leave your pets at home. Only service animals accepted.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • KEY Project is a no-smoking and no-vaping property.
  • Masks are optional at this time.
  • For the health, safety, and equality of all community members, KEY Project staff and volunteers will supervise how much proportion of food everyone will get and will directly put it in your container.
  • KEY Project staff members and volunteers cannot carry your items and assist you to your car. Please plan accordingly and bring an adequate container or person(s) to help you.

*New Tips to Remember!

  • Bring something durable to carry your food in (boxes, wagon, cart, tote bags, etc.) KEY Project will no longer provide pre-packed food boxes for you.
  • The line may be long. You can bring a small, portable chair if you have difficulty standing.
  • It is encouraged to bring only the number of people needed to carry your food to help limit the waiting line length.
  • Prepare for unknown weather! Bring a small umbrella for rain or hats, or other sun-protective items.

If you have any questions, please email Keilee at kupuna@keyproject.org or call 808-380-2359.
