Kettle Moraine M7 GROW.HERE Partnership Breakfast
Fri, March 31, 2017, 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM CDT
Dear Community Partner:
We are excited to announce that the Kettle Moraine School District is now a collaborator with the Milwaukee 7 GROW.HERE. campaign. As one of our valued community partners, we invite you to learn more about the GROW.HERE. campaign and how it facilitates connections among businesses, next-generation talent, educators, and community organizations.
Our district will be hosting a partnership breakfast for community partners that would like more information about this opportunity. Please join us on March 31st at Kettle Moraine High School, West Commons, for a 8:00-8:45am breakfast meeting.
The goal of the GROW.HERE. campaign is to engage companies a connection to K-12 education by providing career-based learning experiences to students. Examples of these learning experiences may entail building a profile on the INSPIRE portal, participating in a Career Fair, providing opportunities for job shadow and internships along with providing career coaching via “experts in the field. The desired outcome is that this will have an positive impact on our region’s talent retention and quality of hire for participating companies.
The M7 GROW.HERE. campaign is using Inspire SE Wisconsin, a web-based tool, that virtually connects businesses to their future talent pool. Students within our district will begin to utilize the Inspire program online through their Career Cruising accounts, a college and career readiness tool used by all of our students.
Our mission is to have each of our students connect with Career based learning experiences prior to graduation from Kettle Moraine. We need your help in achieving this goal as our students’ success counts on real-world experiences and contact with companies like yours.
We would like you to become a GROW.HERE. partner. We are excited at the prospect of connecting our community organizations to our talented students. Please RSVP to the upocoming breakfast and don’t hesitate to call us if you have questions at (262)968-6200
