Description

Join us for a walkthrough of the exhibition KESHIKI | The Landscape Within led by Hollis Goodall, curator of Japanese Art at the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art (LACMA) and guest curator of this exhibition. Goodall will lend her expertise in Japanese art history to provide an in-depth examination of the various contents of the exhibition, including the concept of keshiki and its roots in Japanese history, the regional schools of pottery included in the exhibition, and insights into collecting contemporary Japanese ceramics.

Come contemplate
keshiki in the surfaces of the exhibited works, and gain insight into this unique Japanese art form.
