Kenosha NAACP Freedom Fund

Greetings from the Kenosha Branch NAACP

For the last two years, the Kenosha Branch NAACP has been unable to host our Annual Freedom Fund dinner due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Despite this setback, we have remained the premier civil rights organization in Kenosha and maintain a presence in our community.

It is with great anticipation that the Kenosha Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) invites you to support its Annual Freedom Fund Dinner. The Freedom Fund Dinner is an established tradition for NAACP Branches across the country to raise funds and create pathways to effect change while advancing the cause of civil and human rights in America.

In addition, the Freedom Fund Dinner provides an opportunity to bring together emerging leaders and community stakeholders to end discrimination, embrace diversity and ensure greater opportunity for all people. This year, event organizers will restore the Bro. John Wright Justice award and the Rev. Olen Arrington, Jr. Excellence award in honor of two late Civil Rights and Community leaders.

The Freedom Fund Event will start at the following times:

• Reception: 5:30pm

• Program: 6:30pm

Our Guest speaker will be Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley. We hope that we can count on you to attend our Annual Freedom Fund. If you are unable to attend, you can still support the Kenosha Branch NAACP by purchasing an ad in the Souvenir book, by donating a Silent Auction, sponsoring a youth, or volunteering on a committee.
