Take a Bird Walk with two local birders, Ken Janes and Chet Blazak, who will share their knowledge and experience identifying birds and learning their habits.

For five Fridays from May to June, these walks will take place during peak bird migration for the best chances to see a wide variety of year-round and seasonal birds.

Fridays: 7a.m. May 19th, May 26th, June 2nd, June 9th, and June 16th.

Join in for an easy, early morning bird walk for folks new to the craft, experienced veterans, or who just want some guided help as they learn the skills, sounds, shapes, and songs that help identify species. Learn some skills, ask questions, and get more confident in the craft of birding.

Feel free to bring binoculars, walking sticks, cameras, or anything else that would help you on this bird walk.
