Kendall Square Walking Tour with KSA President Tim Rowe

Interested in getting to know this area better? Wonder where exactly Thomas Watson did his work on the telephone? How you could get to where the Kendall Cinema is entirely by boat? Kendall Square Association's President Tim Rowe is offering 10 KSA members an opportunity to attend a walking tour of Kendall Square with him. He will share his passion for the history of the area with an emphasis on innovation. With a burgeoning growth of biotech and life science companies, 60 restaurants (and counting), multiple research institutes, and a steady stream of talented entrepreneurs and innovators, Kendall Square has become a global epicenter of technology and culture, where people are working to solve some of society’s greatest challenges.
When: Monday, October 21st at 4:00p (rain date: Tuesday, October 22nd at 3:00p)
Where: The group will meet in the Marriott Plaza, above the MBTA Kendall Square station, at the headstone for the Entrepreneur Walk of Fame next to the grassy area in the center of the plaza.
