Class Dates:

Saturdays, 10:00am -12:00pm
6 Sessions

Beautifully patterned, timeless sweater, worked seamlessly from top down. Although it may look complicated at first, the stitch patterns are actually very easy, you will never use more than one color at a time. The collar is worked in two-color Brioche stitch and the pattern at the bottom of the body is worked in Slip-stitch technique.

The pattern includes photo tutorials for lifted increases, German short rows and Brioche stitch. The Slip-stitch pattern is both charted and written. The sample is worked without waist shaping but instructions for waist shaping are included in the pattern.

Suitable for a knitter with some intermediate experience.

Homework to be done before class:
Gauge swatch finished, matching gauge as required per knitting directions below.
Remember to change needle size until you match gauge given on pattern.

Please bring all required materials, including a printed copy of the pattern.

This pattern is available for €5.40 EUR  buy it now

24 sts and 34 rnds in Stockinette stitch = 4” / 10 cm

28 sts and 52 rnds in Slip stitch pattern = 4” / 10 cm
Please note that the gauge is measured after blocking.

1 chain stitch equals 2 worked rounds which means that for every 4” / 10 cm there are 26 chain stitches. Achieving the correct row gauge is not crucial for the Brioche stitch.
