Katherine (Katie) Hollar is the chief marketing officer at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, an international litigation firm. She oversees business development and marketing communications for the firm’s 13 offices. She has written and spoken about marketing and technology topics for the International Legal Technology Association, the Legal Marketing Association, and LEGALTECH, as well as the local chapters of the Public Relations Society of America and the Association of Legal Administrators. Katie is a Big Sister with Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, serves on the board of the Kansas City FilmFest and skates with Fountain City Roller Derby under the moniker Miranda Rights. Amy Jordan Wooden is a veteran communications professional who has served elected officials, political candidates, chief executives, private corporations, municipal governments, trade associations and not-for-profit institutions. Having served as Communications Director during Mayor Sly James’ Transition as well as Communications Director and Press Secretary to Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson, Jordan Wooden also has counseled start-up businesses, public safety officials and law partners to ensure consistent and effective communications during challenging events. Her communications expertise include crisis communications and developing comprehensive, integrated public affairs strategies through earned media, compelling video productions, public speaking and targeted outreach events.
