Description

Does your company have a GSA Schedule? Are you trying to update trying to update your GSA Schedule but are frustrated by the terminology and complexity of the updates? Then this class is for you. The Instructor will take the class through ever form of update from a contract extension, to adding new labor categories, to exercising your economic price adjustment. The forms you need to do any adjustment will be provided and your questions will be answered in a clear concise manner. The material provided will allow you to expand your market share and meet your GSA sales requirements.

If you are looking to get an introduction to the GSA schedule market place, then this training session has been designed just for you. The training leader is a well-known GSA schedule consultant who will work with you and walk you through the GSA documentation processes essential to the produce a GSA compliant schedule and he will help you decide if a GSA schedule is right for you.


Course Objective

Students will learn the fundamentals of submitting a successful update to the companies’ current General Services Administration Schedule. Students will learn where to find the GSA forms and documents that will support their updates. Neither the PTAP nor the instructor can make any guarantee that the Government will actually modify a current contract with the student’s company, but all the preliminary instruction will be provided.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Greg Ayres started his career as a secondary special education teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. When he entered the Army he provided medical military training the Army Medical Department at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. During his twenty three years of military duties he was a program manager and developed the Common Access Card and the Theater Medical Information Program.

Upon his retirement from the military, Mr. Ayres found a way to grow business and assist small businesses at the same time. He started small by creating teaming contracts where small business would work with his large business employer as subcontractors for large health care contracts. Later he would establish his own consulting firm that helped small business qualify for GSA Multiple Award Schedules (MAS). To date he has taught more than 60 multi day training classes to more than 325 small companies. He has assisted with the development of more than 150 successful individual schedules awards and modifications. During each schedule development he meets with the company and evaluates their stability, contract awards, and specialties. Mr. Ayres then recommends a schedule that the company can qualify for and embarks on a cooperative effort to create the supporting materials that will result in a schedule award. To date he has a 99% schedule award rate for those companies he works with/for.
