Description

Join us to experience the interaction between physical and virtual worlds by using Raspberry Pi and Sense HAT!

During the workshop, you will learn how to create your own interactive pixel pet with code using sensors and output devices. You get to design you pet avatar, code them using Python and then animate them! FAQ

Do I need to bring my own hardware?

No. We will have Raspberry Pi kits to work with.

What if I can't afford to pay?

Our Kids Code Jeunesse Fund is setup to pay fees for those who cannot cover the costs. If you are not able to pay for the workshop but wish for your child to attend, please let us know. Please get in touch with us through this form: KCJ Montreal: KCJ Fund for family workshops

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

The workshops are ideal for children 10 and 12 years old. One or two guardians are welcome.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is meter parking immediately outside (if you drive around a bit further from Sherbrooke St, you will find free street parking) // Bus: 24 & 55 // Metro: St Laurent, Place des Arts, Sherbrooke
