The King County Emergency Planning Institute (KCEPI) offers trainings for community and faith-based organizations on preparedness planning.Trainings are designed and led by emergencymanagement and outreach professionals with experience supporting local organizations in their preparedness efforts. They are designed to strengthen the organization’s ability to effectively respond when facing the unexpected. Participants will gain a better understanding of what makes an effective preparedness plan, and a road map for improving existing plans and procedures to ensure organizational success during disasters and emergencies. Two separate sessions provide a building block approach to plan development and improvement.
