Kazakhstan's 25th Independence Anniversary Celebration
This year Kazakhstan is celebrating its 25th anniversary as an independent nation. In just over two decades, Kazakhstan has managed to become an economic and geopolitical success story. Please join us to celebrate this success!
Come to see your old friends and meet new people, enjoy a concert and have delicious homemade food, dance and play games!
The event will start at 12 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Bay Area Cultural Center at 1257 Tasman Drive, Sunnyvale, CA.
The following is a general event program:
12 pm - Doors open
1 pm - 2 pm - Concert
2 pm - 3 pm - Food is served (we will be offering central asian pilaf, manty, baursaks, salad, fruits, beverages and dessert)
3 pm - 4.30 pm - Socializing, dancing and games.
Please purchase tickets online and have them with you at the entrance to the venue.

The online tickets for adults are $20 per person.
For those of you who are not able to purchase online tickets - the tickets will be available at the door for a higher price, $30 per person.
Children and young people up to 18 years old can enter the event free of charge but their parents or guardians are asked to purchase $0 Children and Youth tickets online and ensure they have their tickets at the entry.
Finally, those of you who wish to volunteer to bring food, offer a concert performance or help with the event, may enter the venue free of charge. Please purchase $0 Volunteer tickets online and have them with you when you come to the event.
You are welcome to bring homemade Central Asian food such as beshbarmak, kuurdak, balish, samsa, pirogi, chak-chak, khvorost, jent and many others. We kindly ask that you make portions that serve 8-10 people.
If you are volunteering for a concert performance, please contact the event organizers as soon as you can. We would like you to participate in the upcoming concert rehearsal.
If you are volunteering to help with the event, please contact the event organizers at least one week before the event to coordinate efforts.
Parking is available at the Bay Area Cultural Center parking lot and nearby.
