Event description

Description

The Red River is Kentucky's only designated Wild and Scenic River and is permanently protected thanks to the heroic efforts of local Kentuckians to save the area from being dammed and turned into a lake. Kayaking is a great way to explore this wild river. This easy 8-mile paddle is accessible for all ages and abilities. We'll spend about 4 hours meandering through towering cliffs, boulder-strewn river banks, and deep forests.

After we get off the river, you will hike some of the Red's pristine trails as Spring begins to come to Kentucky. After a gourmet meal, you'll spend a night under the stars in a cozy tent and crackling fire. The next morning, you'll be served a warm breakfast with strong coffee, with an optional last hike before we all go our separate ways. All meals will be provided and freshly prepared, you will be lead by our expert professionally trained guides, and you will have full access to all of our top-of-the-line adventure gear.
