About this event

In the first class of the series, we will use specific asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and mantra (repetitive chanting) to start cultivating a feeling of being grounded, and how to return to our center of gravity (most often the core of the pelvis).

Standing asanas that bring awareness to the feet, legs, and hips can help enhance our earth's energy – think of postures like Tadasana (Mountain pose) or Vrksana (Tree pose). As well as, seated asanas that bring awareness to our sit bones - think Paschimotanasana (seated forward bend), Navasana (Boat pose).

Throughout this journey, remember that you are the elements, so it’s really more a case of remembering what it feels like to be from and on the earth

This workshop is for every "BODY" regardless of your yoga experience.
