Scholar Erika Esau leads a tour of the Getty's must-see exhibition, Käthe Kollwitz: Prints, Process, Politics.

About this Event

One of the most important graphic artists of the 20th century, Käthe Kollwitz portrayed the hardships of war, poverty, and injustice by applying her technical skills to powerful effect. Erika Esau, who specializes in 20th century German art, examines Kollwitz’s creative process and discusses the artist’s social and political engagement in early 20th century Germany.
