About this event

MORE THAN 60 ACTS ON 4 STAGES

25th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION!

JUNE 23-26, 2022

NEWS & UPDATES - New this year we will have a wifi area activated at the festival that will allow for much improved and available social media connectivity that will provide festival goers with the ability to send and receive e-mails and photos with friends and family not in attendance. Details as to where at the festival grounds this hot spot will be, how it can be accessed, and the parameters of its available usage will be provided in the upcoming months. Youth tickets now from ages 10-14. Kids 9 years and younger are free, accompanied by a ticketed adult. Come enjoy the peaceful surroundings of beautiful Black Oak Ranch, the camaraderie of multi-generations in a family friendly atmosphere, and four stages of world class music.

THIS YEAR THERE IS LOT'S MORE SHADE! - This year's event will include more shade than ever before. We are shading the main meadow in front of the main stage. We've taken great care to make sure that it won't obstruct anyone's view. Same great seated area only shaded.

The Kate Wolf Music Festival first started in 1996 as a one day Retrospective, at Caswell Vineyards, near the town of Occidental, in western Sonoma County.  In 2001 the move to Black Oak Ranch, just north of Laytonville, was made.  2020 will mark our 25th Anniversary.

The annual Kate Wolf Music Festival is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a great weekend with friends, family and lovers of fabulous music. Black Oak Ranch, the Mendocino home to the Hog Farm and Camp Winnarainbow-a circus camp for kids, is three hours north of San Francisco and two hours south of Arcata.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes, if you are picking up tickets at will call, or if there is some potential question having to do with tickets purchased online, then you will need proper ID at the box office.  There is no age limit, but children 9 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Carpooling is recommended wherever possible.  Each vehicle is charged an impact fee.  Only one ticket holder, per vehicle, is required to have a ticket (with a stated vehicle pass) in their possession.  All other ticket holders, arriving within said vehicle, are only required to have a normal ticket in their possession.  Cars and motorcycles require the vehicle pass and any vehicle greater than 24 ft. in length (be it a car plus trailer, truck plus trailer, or recreational vehicle) requires an RV pass.
