Join the Wallace Theater for an incredible show featuring Levelland's very own Karleigh Porterfield for a night of wonderful Christmas Music and a few of her favorite cover songs.
Through her experiences and years of learning, she has established a vocal identity that appeals to both old and young audiences by dynamically pairing a classic sound to modern day music. You are sure to be encapsulated by Karleigh’s inviting and passionate stage presence.
Karleigh began singing in her crib, was on the stage in front of thousands by 6 years old, and hasn’t stopped since. She has been one of the entertainers at the Cactus theater since she was 12 and was a regular performer on the Johnny High Show in Arlington, Texas.
In 2012, Karleigh was awarded best female country vocalist at South Plains College and best female vocalist/entertainer at the West Texas Folk Festival.
Karleigh has performed on stages all across Texas, New Mexico, and California and we are thrilled to welcome her to the stage at the Top of the Wallace in her hometown of Levelland!
She will be joined by Jonny "Keys" Hughes on the piano and Brian Maines will be playing percussion.
Doors for the event will open at 6:30pm with a free reception and patrons are also welcome to B.Y.O.B. "Bring your own beverage."
If you have not been to the Wallace before, the show is on the 2nd floor of the building and we do not have a working elevator. The Wallace Theater is a non-profit organization working to renovate and restore the historic theater. Ticket sales for events like these are helping us get the money needed for renovations such as an elevator!
Thanks for joining us for this great show and Merry Christmas!
