Kárenly is a Puerto Rican islander, singer-songwriter, and believer of the DIY movement. She has been in the arts from age 4, starting in theater, choirs and recording voice-overs. Through the years she became part of many Christian worship groups and prestigious island choirs, including the

University of Puerto Rico’s Corium Canticus, which granted her a full college scholarship in 2011. In 2012, she decided to further her musical career in the US after obtaining a scholarship from Berklee College of Music. She moved to New York in 2016 and has broaden her experience as an independent, all-around artist.

Kárenly's soulful voice is one that moves freely among genres. It's soft yet secure and delivers the message of each song with pure feeling. She is one of the lead singers for the Latin Grammy nominated group 'Los Pleneros de la 21' and just released her first single as a solo artist, "I've Grown Accustomed To His Face". She has performed with legends like Larry Watson, Peter Eldridge, Isaac Delgado Jr., David Liebman, Amy Black, among others including rising artists like Jeremy Bosch, Nyali and Nora Zahera . She became the muse of Gyovanni’s “Je Ne Veux Que Toi” music video, had her own artist feature in WIPR’s 2017 season of ‘En La Punta de la Lengua’ and was part of the 35 year anniversary album of Los Pleneros de la 21, which was released on fall 2018.
