Event description

Description

This event will not be held at the originally scheduled date. We will be scheduling it in two months or so once we hopefully are past the coronavirus situation.

When we set the new date we will update the event info.

This is the quarterly meeting of the UG. We have a great agenda lined up. We are also trying some new things out this meeting. There are 3 ticket types. Lunch is optional but come early and eat up, make new friends right away. There is also a ticket for out of town enthusiasts thay may not be able to make the drive into town for the event. When you order this ticket we will send you a teams meeting invite prior to the event so you can watch from the hinterlands.

Childrens' Hospital Association will be hosting the event at their offices. This meeting is Not at the Microsoft Office!

We are going to have a great panel discussion led by your peers. What are the possible topics that will be discussed?

  • Have you promoted or set up governance for a broader use of Power Automate at your organization?
  • How are you using auditing at your Organization to monitor usage of the Power Platform? And what outcomes are or will be achieved with your auditing implementation?
  • What problems are you or would you be using PowerApps/Power Automate to solve at your Organization?
  • How do you handle release notes, enhancement requests, or hot fixes?
  • How are you managing lower, test environments? Are you paying for the additional licensure or managing change in a different way?
  • What service accounts are you using for your Power Platform components? What settings, licensing, and permissions are configured.
  • How do you proxy and maintain various business unit processes? For example, a certain team/department does one line of process across multiple apps and a different team uses the app differently.
  • How do you test as other users?
  • What are some ways you have tuned performance in your Power App?
  • Where do you guide users to get used to navigating to the Power Apps? Are they embedded in Teams/Sharepoint or accessed through PowerApps portal?
  • What is the location of your data set? When do you use Sharepoint, SQL, etc. and how consistent do you try to be?
  • What other applications or systems does your Power Platform typically connect with?
