Kaleidoscope - Eastwood Gala 2022 - Saturday Matinée

Eastwood Collegiate Institute is home to the Waterloo Region District School Board's Integrated Arts Program (IAP). Gala is a performance and art display fundraiser that supports the IAP's efforts of achieving excellence and equitable access to an enriched arts experience in our school. After several years of interruptions to performance and study of the arts in person or at all, this year's Gala is more important than ever.

The performances are an IAP student-driven event where music, dance, improv and more are showcased on stage, technical skills are honed behind the scenes and artists have an opportunity to display their talents.

Performances will take place:

* Friday, November 25 at 7pm

* Saturday, November 26 at 1pm

* Saturday, November 26 at 7pm

Doors open one hour before curtain.

Gala features exceptional talent from all of the arts taught at Eastwood. The audience will see a wide range of performance that includes auditioned pieces, choirs and bands, clubs, and classes. You might not see them, but students prepare and run lights and sound and every other aspect of the backstage environment, learning what's needed to put on a professional show. A juried Art Display and Film showcase highlight the incredible visual and graphic art creativity that Eastwood nurtures. Gala truly celebrates the whole of our IAP community.

Please make sure to visit our Raffle table and purchase tickets for some amazing prizes. Each show has different items to Raffle! Several items including Raptors Tickets and Acting Lessons will be part of a Sealed-Bid Auction located in the Lobby.

Concessions will be on sale at our Hospitality table.

Roses to congratulate students will be available for purchase in the Lobby.
