Event description

Description

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Georgetown University Center for Security Studies are proud to present the 2018 George T. Kalaris Intelligence Conference: The Art and Science of Intelligence.

This year's Kalaris conference will cover a range of national security issues, with a focus on the blend of skills and diverse perspectives required to confront emerging intelligence challenges and opportunities. Intelligence collection and analysis require deep technical expertise and an understanding of cutting-edge technology trends. Presenting complex intelligence to decision makers also requires creativity. This blend of art and science, of creativity and technical expertise, ensures actionable intelligence is conveyed.

The Kalaris Intelligence Conference aims to connect government, academia, media, and the private sector through an intellectually rich and stimulating lineup of events and discussion about the diverse, and sometimes divergent, skills and perspectives needed in the national security community. Join us to explore how art and science intersect in intelligence and the different approaches to analyzing and acting on information.

Lunch will be provided for all registered attendees. An industry career fair for students will take place following the conference, beginning at 3:00pm. Registration is required. Tickets are non-transferable. Ticket sales end Wednesday, September 26 at 12:00pm.
